Troubled Butterflies - 2018
The piece is about dance itself - or rather, about how we perceive it. Whether as trained dancers, people who have never encountered dance before, or those somewhere in between, we all bring different degrees of knowledge and awareness to it.
The work explores what happens to the body in the process of studying dance - and how that process can transform a person entirely.
